Back in 1984, we opened
up a video rental store in St. John's. That first Video Chest was
one of the first video stores in Portland. Over the next ten years,
Video Chest grew to multiple locations.
In 1994 we decided
that it was time to re-invest in St. John's. When the old Tele-Tronics
building went up for sale, we bought it that very day. We knew that
a health club in St. John's was the right thing.
